Every Betsy-Tacy title will be available as an audiobook, starting October 2026!

The annual BTS membership drive is September 1–13.

Our wonderful team – Tim Sutton and Amber Massaglia – are taking gorgeous care of the grounds and gardens at the Betsy-Tacy Houses.

We worked with The Creative Company on a brand new picture book called “Betsy-Tacy for Small Children.”

We had great fun hosting writer Greta Rybus. Her marvelous article “I Visited the Real-life Homes Behind Beloved Childhood Books—and Found a New Way to Read Them” appears in the May 2026 issue.

Columnist Aaron Brown interviewed Executive Director Jennifer Davis-Kay for a moving piece about U.S. immigrants and Maud’s beautiful messages about kindness and respect for all cultures

Karen Tolkkinen wrote a marvelous piece about the Convention (“Book readers across the U.S. adore Mankato. Only they know it as Deep Valley”), which ran in The Minnesota Star Tribune.

On October 8, BTS Executive Director Jennifer Davis-Kay and Board VP Shelley Harris, along with Rebecca Glaser of The Creative Company, appeared on Kato Living.
